1 Now Jehoram3088 the son1121 of Ahab256 began to reign4427 over5921 Israel3478 in Samaria8111 the eighteenth6240 year8141 of Jehoshaphat3092 king4428 of Judah,3063 and reigned4427 twelve8147 6240 years.8141

2 и делал6213 неугодное7451 в очах5869 Господних,3068 хотя не так, как отец1 его и мать517 его: он снял5493 статую4676 Ваала,1168 которую сделал6213 отец1 его;
|
2 And he worked6213 evil7451 in the sight5869 of the LORD;3068 but not like his father,1 and like his mother:517 for he put5493 away5493 the image4676 of Baal1168 that his father1 had made.6213

3 однако же грехов2403 Иеровоама,3379 сына1121 Наватова,5028 который ввел2398 в2398 грех2398 Израиля,3478 он держался,1692 не отставал5493 от них.

3 Nevertheless7535 he joined1692 to the sins2403 of Jeroboam3379 the son1121 of Nebat,5028 which834 made Israel3478 to sin;2398 he departed5493 not therefrom.
|

4 Меса,4338 царь4428 Моавитский,4124 был богат5349 скотом5349 и присылал7725 царю4428 Израильскому3478 по сто3967 тысяч505 овец3733 и по сто3967 тысяч505 неостриженных6785 баранов.352
|
4 And Mesha4337 king4428 of Moab4124 was a sheep master,5349 and rendered7725 to the king4428 of Israel3478 an hundred3967 thousand505 lambs,3733 and an hundred3967 thousand505 rams,352 with the wool.6785
|

5 Но когда умер4194 Ахав,256 царь4428 Моавитский4124 отложился6586 от царя4428 Израильского.3478
|
5 But it came1961 to pass, when Ahab256 was dead,4194 that the king4428 of Moab4124 rebelled6586 against the king4428 of Israel.3478
|
|
6 И выступил3318 царь4428 Иорам3088 в то время3117 из Самарии8111 и сделал6485 смотр6485 всем Израильтянам;3478
|
6 And king4428 Jehoram3088 went3318 out of Samaria8111 the same1931 time,3117 and numbered6485 all3605 Israel.3478
|

7 и пошел3212 и послал7971 к Иосафату,3092 царю4428 Иудейскому,3063 сказать:559 царь4428 Моавитский4124 отложился6586 от меня, пойдешь3212 ли со мной на войну4421 против Моава?4124 Он сказал:559 пойду;5927 как ты, так и я, как твой народ,5971 так и мой народ;5971 как твои кони,5483 так и мои кони.5483

7 And he went3212 and sent7971 to Jehoshaphat3092 the king4428 of Judah,3063 saying,559 The king4428 of Moab4124 has rebelled6586 against me: will you go3212 with me against413 Moab4124 to battle?4421 And he said,559 I will go5927 up: I am as you are, my people5971 as your people,5971 and my horses5483 as your horses.5483

8 И сказал:559 какою дорогою1870 идти5927 нам? Он сказал:559 дорогою1870 пустыни4057 Едомской.123
|
8 And he said,559 Which335 2088 way1870 shall we go5927 up? And he answered,559 The way1870 through the wilderness4057 of Edom.123
|
|
9 И пошел3212 царь4428 Израильский,3478 и царь4428 Иудейский,3063 и царь4428 Едомский,123 и шли5437 они обходом5437 семь7651 дней,3117 и не было воды4325 для войска4264 и для скота,929 который шел за ними.
|
9 So the king4428 of Israel3478 went,3212 and the king4428 of Judah,3063 and the king4428 of Edom:123 and they fetched a compass5437 of seven7651 days'3117 journey:1870 and there was no3808 water4325 for the host,4264 and for the cattle929 that followed7272 them.
|
|
10 И сказал559 царь4428 Израильский:3478 ах!162 созвал7121 Господь3068 трех7969 царей4428 сих, чтобы предать5414 их в руку3027 Моава.4124
|
10 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said,559 Alas!162 that the LORD3068 has called7121 these428 three7969 kings4428 together, to deliver5414 them into the hand3027 of Moab!4124
|
|
11 И сказал559 Иосафат:3092 нет ли здесь пророка5030 Господня,3068 чтобы нам вопросить1875 Господа3068 чрез него? И отвечал6030 один259 из слуг5650 царя4428 Израильского3478 и сказал:559 здесь Елисей,477 сын1121 Сафатов,8202 который подавал3332 воду4325 на руки3027 Илии.452

11 But Jehoshaphat3092 said,559 Is there not here6311 a prophet5030 of the LORD,3068 that we may inquire1875 of the LORD3068 by him? And one259 of the king4428 of Israel's3478 servants5650 answered6030 and said,559 Here6311 is Elisha477 the son1121 of Shaphat,8202 which834 poured3332 water4325 on5921 the hands3027 of Elijah.452

12 И сказал559 Иосафат:3092 есть3426 у него слово1697 Господне.3068 И пошли3381 к нему царь4428 Израильский,3478 и Иосафат,3092 и царь4428 Едомский.123
|
12 And Jehoshaphat3092 said,559 The word1697 of the LORD3068 is with him. So the king4428 of Israel3478 and Jehoshaphat3092 and the king4428 of Edom123 went3381 down3381 to him.
|
|
13 И сказал559 Елисей477 царю4428 Израильскому:3478 что мне и тебе? пойди3212 к пророкам5030 отца1 твоего и к пророкам5030 матери517 твоей. И сказал559 ему царь4428 Израильский:3478 нет, потому что Господь3068 созвал7121 сюда трех7969 царей4428 сих, чтобы предать5414 их в руку3027 Моава.4124

13 And Elisha477 said559 to the king4428 of Israel,3478 What4100 have I to do with you? get3212 you to the prophets5030 of your father,1 and to the prophets5030 of your mother.517 And the king4428 of Israel3478 said559 to him, No:408 for the LORD3068 has called7121 these428 three7969 kings4428 together, to deliver5414 them into the hand3027 of Moab.4124

14 И сказал559 Елисей:477 жив2416 Господь3068 Саваоф,6635 пред3942 Которым я стою!5975 Если бы я не почитал5375 Иосафата,3092 царя4428 Иудейского,3063 то не взглянул5027 бы на тебя и не видел7200 бы тебя;
|
14 And Elisha477 said,559 As the LORD3068 of hosts6635 lives,2416 before6440 whom834 I stand,5975 surely,3588 were it not that I regard5375 the presence6440 of Jehoshaphat3092 the king4428 of Judah,3063 I would not look5027 toward413 you, nor518 see7200 you.

15 теперь позовите3947 мне гуслиста.5059 И когда гуслист5059 играл5059 на гуслях, тогда рука3027 Господня3068 коснулась Елисея,

15 But now6258 bring3947 me a minstrel.5059 And it came1961 to pass, when the minstrel5059 played,5059 that the hand3027 of the LORD3068 came1961 on him.

16 и он сказал:559 так говорит559 Господь:3068 делайте6213 на сей долине5158 рвы1356 за рвами,1356
|
16 And he said,559 Thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 Make6213 this2088 valley5158 full of ditches.1356
|
|
17 ибо так говорит559 Господь:3068 не увидите7200 ветра7307 и не увидите7200 дождя,1653 а долина5158 сия наполнится4390 водою,4325 которую будете8354 пить8354 вы и мелкий4735 и крупный929 скот929 ваш;
|
17 For thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 You shall not see7200 wind,7307 neither3808 shall you see7200 rain;1653 yet that valley5158 shall be filled4390 with water,4325 that you may drink,8354 both you, and your cattle,4735 and your beasts.929
|
|
18 но этого мало7043 пред очами5869 Господа;3068 Он и Моава4124 предаст5414 в руки3027 ваши,
|
18 And this2063 is but a light7043 thing in the sight5869 of the LORD:3068 he will deliver5414 the Moabites4124 also into your hand.3027
|
|
19 и вы поразите5221 все города5892 укрепленные4013 и все города5892 главные,4004 и все лучшие2896 деревья6086 срубите,5307 и все источники4599 водные4325 запрудите,5640 и все лучшие2896 участки2513 полевые2513 испортите3510 каменьями.68
|
19 And you shall smite5221 every3605 fenced4013 city,5892 and every3605 choice4005 city,5892 and shall fell5307 every3605 good2896 tree,6086 and stop5640 all3605 wells4599 of water,4325 and mar3510 every3605 good2896 piece2513 of land with stones.68
|
|
20 Поутру,1242 когда возносят5927 хлебное4503 приношение,4503 вдруг полилась935 вода4325 по пути1870 от Едома,123 и наполнилась4390 земля776 водою.4325
|
20 And it came1961 to pass in the morning,1242 when the meat offering4503 was offered,5927 that, behold,2009 there came935 water4325 by the way1870 of Edom,123 and the country776 was filled4390 with water.4325
|
|
21 Когда Моавитяне4124 услышали,8085 что идут5927 цари4428 воевать3898 с ними, тогда собраны6817 были6817 все, начиная от носящего2296 пояс2290 и старше,4605 и стали5975 на границе.1366
|
21 And when all3605 the Moabites4124 heard8085 that the kings4428 were come5927 up to fight3898 against them, they gathered6817 all3605 that were able2296 to put2296 on armor,2290 and upward,4605 and stood5975 in the border.1366
|
|
22 Поутру1242 встали7925 они рано,7925 и когда солнце8121 воссияло2224 над водою,4325 Моавитянам4124 издали5048 показалась7200 эта вода4325 красною,122 как кровь.1818
|
22 And they rose7925 up early7925 in the morning,1242 and the sun8121 shone2224 on the water,4325 and the Moabites4124 saw7200 the water4325 on the other5048 side5048 as red122 as blood:1818
|
|
23 И сказали559 они: это кровь;1818 сразились5221 цари4428 между собою и истребили2717 друг376 друга;7453 теперь на добычу,7998 Моав!4124
|
23 And they said,559 This2088 is blood:1818 the kings4428 are surely slain,2717 and they have smitten5221 one376 another:7453 now6258 therefore, Moab,4124 to the spoil.7998
|
|
24 И пришли935 они к стану4264 Израильскому.3478 И встали6965 Израильтяне3478 и стали5221 бить5221 Моавитян,4124 и те побежали5127 от них, а они продолжали5221 идти5221 на них и бить5221 Моавитян.4124
|
24 And when they came935 to the camp4264 of Israel,3478 the Israelites3478 rose6965 up and smote5221 the Moabites,4124 so that they fled5127 before6440 them: but they went5221 forward smiting5221 the Moabites,4124 even in their country.
|
|
25 И города5892 разрушили,2040 и на всякий лучший2896 участок2513 в поле бросили7993 каждый376 по камню68 и закидали4390 его; и все протоки4599 вод4325 запрудили5640 и все дерева6086 лучшие2896 срубили,5307 так что оставались7604 только каменья68 в Кир-Харешете.7025 И обступили5437 его пращники7051 и разрушили5221 его.

25 And they beat2040 down2040 the cities,5892 and on every3605 good2896 piece2513 of land cast7993 every man376 his stone,68 and filled4390 it; and they stopped5640 all3605 the wells4599 of water,4325 and felled5307 all3605 the good2896 trees:6086 only in Kirharaseth7025 left7604 they the stones68 thereof; however, the slingers7051 went5437 about5437 it, and smote5221 it.

26 И увидел7200 царь4428 Моавитский,4124 что битва4421 одолевает2388 его, и взял3947 с собою семьсот76513967 человек,376 владеющих8025 мечом,2719 чтобы пробиться1234 к царю4428 Едомскому;123 но не могли.3201
|
26 And when the king4428 of Moab4124 saw7200 that the battle4421 was too sore2388 for him, he took3947 with him seven7651 hundred3967 men376 that drew8025 swords,2719 to break1234 through1234 even to the king4428 of Edom:123 but they could3201 not.
|
|
27 И взял3947 он сына1121 своего первенца,1060 которому следовало царствовать4427 вместо него, и вознес5927 его во всесожжение5930 на стене.2346 Это произвело большое1419 негодование7110 в Израильтянах,3478 и они отступили5265 от него и возвратились7725 в свою землю.776
|
27 Then he took3947 his oldest1060 son1121 that should have reigned4427 in his stead,8478 and offered5927 him for a burnt5930 offering on the wall.2346 And there was great1419 indignation7110 against5921 Israel:3478 and they departed5265 from him, and returned7725 to their own land.776
|
